- Can assess the physical, psychological, and social needs of older individuals.
- Can work effectively both independently and as a member of disciplinary and multidisciplinary teams.
- Understands the importance of lifelong learning, accesses information, and follows scientific developments.
- Can use automation systems, technological tools, and care equipment used in elderly care.
- Can communicate effectively in Turkish, both orally and in writing, and can use a foreign language at a minimum A2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- Has awareness of health and safety risks specific to elderly care.
- Has awareness of older persons’ rights, environmental protection, cultural values, and occupational health and safety.
- Follows national and international developments in elderly care and adapts to innovations in accordance with professional ethical principles.
